Argentina's biggest city is home to an enormous harbour and is served by the Ezeiza International Airport (EZE), which is officially known as Ministro Pistarini International Airport. Located around 35 km / 21 miles south-west of central Buenos Aires and within the Ezeiza region, this international airport is connected to the city by a fast motorway, the General Ricchieri Expressway.

Ministro Pistarini Airport in Ezeiza is the most important airport in the whole of Argentina and currently handles up to five million passengers each year. This equates to more than 70 percent of the country's international air traffic, making Ezeiza Airport a particularly noteworthy transport hub within Latin America.
